Privacy Policy

PrintQuick (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides a QR-based file upload service for print shops (“Operators”) and their customers (“Customers”). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

1) Information we collect

1.1 Operator account information

When an Operator registers, we collect:

Email address
Phone number
Shop name (optional)
Encrypted password (we do not store your plain password)

1.2 Customer upload information

Customers do not need to create an account. When a Customer uploads files, we may collect:

Uploaded files and file metadata (filename, size, type)
A temporary order identifier (Order ID)
Technical information (IP address, browser/device info) for security and troubleshooting

1.3 Usage and diagnostic data

We may collect logs and diagnostics to maintain and secure the service, such as:

API request logs (timestamps, endpoints, response codes)
Error logs

2) How we use information

We use the collected information to:

Provide the service (create Operator accounts, generate QR codes, accept uploads)
Show Operators their recent orders and file previews
Convert files for preview/printing where applicable (e.g., Office documents)
Improve reliability, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues
Manage subscriptions and free trials (if applicable)

3) File retention and deletion

Uploaded files are designed to be temporary.
By default, orders/files expire after approximately 15 minutes (the “Retention Window”).
After expiry, files may be deleted automatically. In some cases, deletion may not be immediate due to processing, retries, backups, or system delays.
Operators and Customers should not assume uploads are permanent storage.

4) Sharing of information

We share data only as needed to operate the service:

With the Operator: Customers’ uploaded files and order details are visible to the Operator associated with the scanned QR code.
With service providers: We may use third-party infrastructure providers (hosting, storage, monitoring). They are permitted to process data only to provide services to us.
Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

We do not sell personal data.

5) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect data (e.g., encryption in transit where available, password hashing, access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6) Your choices and rights

Operators may request:

Access, correction, or deletion of their account information (subject to legal/operational requirements)

Customers should contact the Operator (print shop) for help regarding an upload, since Customers do not create accounts.

7) Children’s privacy

PrintQuick is not intended for children under 13. Do not use the service if you are under 13.

8) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date.
